A distinct, beautiful restaurant needed a brand.
The logo had to match the natural, log cabin feel.
When founder and owner of Cheba Hut Scott Jennings approached Cody with his concept for a high-end restaurant located in old town Fort Collins, he knew that he wanted to embrace the aesthetic of the building. It had an unfinished wooden cabin feel within, and Scott wanted to curate a menu that appeals to that vibe. His idea? A high-end steakhouse serving whiskey-marinated steaks. The name was decided based on that concept – The Still Whiskey Steaks.

The Process
Showcasing the craft within the mark.
The logo depicts the process through which whiskey is crafted, with a still and barrel illustration within the mark. The typography used evokes a western feel reminiscent of the location itself. When combined with the three-tone color palette, the logo maintains a simplicity while distilling the concept owner Scott Jennings wanted to convey with the brand.
